Also you will visit the C.R. Jakobson´s Farm museum in Kurgja and participate in a workshop.

During this tour you will visit Riga Central Market and experience time travel back to the 18th century to try famous “Riga Black Balsam” drink! Riga Central market is the largest market in the Baltic States and one of the biggest outdoor markets in Europe. Each of the five pavilions is dedicated to a separate category of food – meat, fish, fruit and so on, so that walking from one to the next offers a completely different set of sights, smells and sounds. The market is a great place to sample local produce.
Riga Black Balsam is a most valued drink first made in Riga in the middle of the 18th century. The legend has it that Empress Catherine the Great of Russia, having fallen ill during a visit to Latvia, was cured after drinking Riga Black Balsam. Riga Black Balsam opens a whole world of sensations with its 24 ingredients.
